Mr Antonio Fernández-Galiano Campos. This Madrid-born businessman has a law degree  from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

He began his professional career at Banco Central, and later joined the business team of Unedisa, the publishing company of the El Mundo newspaper, where he became as a managing director in the early 1990s.

He has taught Civil Law at the Universidad San Pablo CEU. He is currently CEO of Unidad Editorial (part of the Italian communications conglomerate RCS MediaGroup) and all its subsidiaries, while serving as president of VEO Televisión and a member of the board of directors of RCS Quotidiani S.p.A., the publisher of the Italian newspapers Corriere Della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport.

He is a member of the board of senators of IFRA (worldwide research and service organisation for the news publishing industry), and has served on its executive board.
