The Architecture and Society Foundation has established an association of Friends of the Foundation [Club de Amigos Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad] for individuals and organisations who support its ideals and wish to be involved in its activities. Here follow details of membership options and of members' rights and obligations:

Types of Memberships and Annual Dues

Members' dues serve to help sponsor the Foundation's activities:

• Member of Honour: 600 euros or more
• Full Member: 300 euros
• Associate Member: 100 euros

Use of Dues of the Members of "Club de Amigos Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad"

All members' dues are classified as donations which are used to sponsor the Foundation's activity programmes.

 

Member of Honour

The Foundation will issue a Member of Honour [Socio de Honor] card.

Members of Honour are assured of:

- Preferential rights to attend all the Foundation's periodic World Architecture and Society Congress, with a 50% discount on the registration fee.
- Free and full access to the Foundation's web site, and the right to download all .pdf documents available on the site.
- Early notification of all activities and programmes approved or under consideration by the Foundation, so that they may give their opinion or advice to the Board. The idea is that the interactions of the Members of Honour with the Foundation may give rise to discussion and ideas that lead to activities of mutual interest.
- Free access to the restricted areas of all programmes.
- Early notification and invitation to all exhibitions, seminars and other public events in which the Foundation takes part.
- Guaranteed participation, on request, in the courses and seminars organised by the Foundation, until they are 50% subscribed, plus a 50% discount of any registrations fee charged.
- A free subscription to the magazine Iluminaciones.
- A free copy of one of the books published by the Foundation and a 15% on all other publications.

 

Full Member

The Foundation will issue a Full Member [Socio Protector] card.

Full Members are assured of:

- Special attendance terms and a 25% discount on the registration fee for the Foundation's periodical World Architecture and Society Congress.
- Free and full access to the Foundation's web site, and the right to download all .pdf documents available on the site.
- Early notification of all activities and programmes approved or under consideration by the Foundation and, so that they may give their opinion or advice to the Board.
- Free access to the restricted areas of all programmes.  
- Early notification of all exhibitions, seminars and other public events in which the Foundation takes part.
- Guaranteed participation, on request, in the courses and seminars organised by the Foundation, until they are 50% subscribed plus a 50% discount of any registrations fee charged.
- A free subscription to the magazine Iluminaciones.

Associate Member

The Foundation will issue an Associate Member [Socio Benefactor] card.

Associate Members are assured of:

- Early notification of all activities and programmes approved or under consideration by the Foundation and, so that they may give their opinion or advice to the Board.

- Early notification of all exhibitions, seminars and other public events in which the Foundation takes part.
- Guaranteed participation, on request, in the courses and seminars organised by the Foundation, until they are 50% subscribed.
- A free subscription to the magazine Iluminaciones. and a 15% discount on all other publications.

 

Benefits for all Friends of the Foundation

Public Acknowledgement

To public express its gratitude to the Friends of the Foundation, each year a list of members will be published on a full page of the magazine Iluminaciones, and on the Foundation's web site.

Priority in Projects

For participation in special projects, the Foundation will give priority to those individuals and organisations that support us on a continuous basis. Likewise, procedures will be established to allow Friends of the Foundation to make proposals and suggestion, and to and give their opinions of existing projects. 

 

Publicity of Sponsorship

Friends of the Foundation may mention their support for the Foundation in their advertising and public communications, by agreement with the Board.

Mention in Foundation Publications

The Foundation's Annual Report will name the Friends of the Foundation in the section on sponsorship.

Tax Allowance 

Under Spain's Law 49 of 23rd December 2002 on non-profit organisations and incentives to sponsorship, all donations to the Foundation are eligible for tax deductions.

Additional Tax Allowance for Navarrese Companies

Under an Order enacted on 11th August 2002 by the Navarre Regional Government designating the Foundation and its activities as "of Social Interest", companies registered in Navarre are eligible for an additional tax allowance for their donations.
