José Tono Martínez

José Tono Martínez is a writer, essayist, and cultural administrator. Sociology-Anthropology (UCM, 1982), PhD in Philosphy (UAM, 1996).

Editor-in-chief and Director of La Luna de Madrid (1985 and 1987). In the United States (1988-1994) he directed Encounters and was Executive Advisor in Fundación Spain ’92.

In Buenos Aires he was director of the ICI Centro Cultural de España (1997-2001).

Director of Editorial Old Factory (2002-2006) and Foro Observatorio Tánger-Tarifa.

From 2006 to 2008 he was Director of International Relations and Information of the Sociedad Estatal paa Exposiciones Internacionales.
